A new nursing wing extension is underway and on completion will comprise of 13 highly desirable new bedrooms, a conservatory, and a new dining room and assisted bathing facilities.

Each of the new rooms within the purpose built nursing wing will be equipped with Track Hoisting. This will allow our residents to be transferred in and out of bed and into assisted bathing facilities with dignity and respect by trained staff. There will be a qualified nurse on duty 24hrs a day as well myself continuing as manager, living on site. I will also be seeking to employ a deputy manager to assist me with the day to day running of Valerie Manor, care planning and ensuring that high standards of personalised care are delivered at all times.

I have already been contacted by qualified nurses in the area and would welcome any interest in full and part time jobs for qualified nurses and experienced care staff to join our dedicated team that we already have here at the Manor.
