Valerie Manor is currently undergoing extensive expansion and improvement. A new
nursing wing extension is underway and on completion will comprise of 13 highly desirable new bedrooms, a conservatory, and a new dining room and assisted bathing facilities. The extension will also provide a landscaped garden with raised planters and safe flooring allowing residents to enjoy the outdoors safely and unaccompanied.
The extension will be open in two phases; based on current timescales two new residential bedrooms and the dining room will be open in
August 2010. The nursing wing, conservatory and assisted bathing facilities will be open in
January 2011.
This will then allow us to register as a dual registered home, providing nursing care as well as residential care and enable us to continue to care for our residents should their needs change to nursing.
Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions while the work is progressing.
